The Land Cookery Competition
Now in its 75th year, The Land Cookery Competition has been sponsored annually by The Land Newspaper since it was first held in 1949. This widely-revered and hotly-contested competition is open to any person – member or non-member – living in NSW or the ACT.
This is baking and preserving at its best. The rules can be exacting, so the guidelines must be followed to a tee when making and presenting your entry. The Land Cookery Schedule 2025/2026 will outline all you need to know. Winners at branch level go on to compete at Group, and if you make it through that round, you go on to State Finals held at the CWA of NSW State Conference in May each year. We’re thrilled to have a few State blue ribbon and placegetters at CWA Sydney City.
