The perfect scone workshop

  • Brasserie Bread 1737 Botany Road Banksmeadow, NSW, 2019 Australia (map)

Have you ever wanted to make scones but weren’t really sure how? Ever wondered what makes the perfect scone? Wonder no more!

Hosted by none other than the ladies of CWA Sydney City themselves, treat yourself to a fun night where you will learn the CWA Sydney City’s favourite Buttermilk scone recipe and how to make the perfect scone. Through demonstration – and plenty of tasting – you’ll learn this classic scone mix to allow you to whip up a batch up traditional scones, and you’ll also learn the tips and tricks to take the humble scone to the next level with sweet and savoury options.

And of course there will be plenty of scones to eat with CWA Sydney City’s famous jams and lashings of cream!

Held at the award-winning artisan sourdough bakery Brasserie Bread, there will be plenty of fresh sourdough bread and Australian cultured butter, nibbles, drinks as well as competitions, raffles and prize giveaways. And yes, you will be able to purchase all the CWA jams, relishes and chutneys that your heart desires!

A night not to be missed – this event, held during CWA Awareness week, teaches you how to make the perfect scone, and learn more about the CWA of NSW. Proceeds from this event go back into the community via education scholarships, women's health projects and medical research.
